Software developer / Web designer, single and not dating or wanting to, so no pesky personal life to interfere :)
I've played a lot of different games from the Vax port of spaced invaders in about 82 (my dad snuck me into the data center on a saturday :) to DAOC, NWN, WoW, limited EQ1 and of course EQ2.
Fairly new to EQ2, just started in October. I learn fairly quickly and am eager for feedback as long as it's not delivered spitefully. I can deal with spiteful feedback althought I usually quit talking to that person till I calm down :)
Why do you want to join Karma?
I almost quit the game last month simply because I couldn't get a good group to save my life (or my toon's :). I've been really impressed with several Karma members, and really want to play with people I can learn from.
Do you know any Karma Members?
Yes, grouped with Envictus a lot during the first few days of the server. Reemus (sp? That's what the friends list is for :) ) and Gilly.
What zone access do you have? Several sections of splitpaw, Nek castle, Deathfist citadel... I have the other expansion but haven't done the D'Morte access yet.
Do you forsee any life changing events that would prevent you from continuing your play times, eq2 subscription, or the ablity to keep up with and buy Eq2 expansions as they come out?
I don't have either expansion although I imagine it wouldn't be a problem to get them if I have people to help me explore them. I may be moving in about a month so couldn't play for however long I don't have broadband... No more than a couple weeks at the outside (Adelphia sucks :) )...
What are your computer specs and type of internet connection?
(Example: Intel Processor 2.1 ghz, 512 megs of ram, ATI x300 video card and a dail-up modem)

Yes, I have a headset, have to find it but shouldn't be a problem... I can grab another... Work for a computer company that sells them :)
Have you read our Raid Loot Policy found on the Site Navigation bar on the left hand side of the website?
I don't completely understand the dkp points but seems reasonable, and a good idea to prevent people from going on af and getting all the great loot. I appreciate that actually and usually put stuff in the guild bank or mail it to people rather than sell anyway...

Well, I was invited to Heart of Kings about 30 minutes after Vox went online. Lance was guild leader and fairly quickly so was I. Most of the people I played with on the old server were rather low skill level and he is of moderate skill level and probably was the highest in Heart of Kings at the time. I tend to be very devoted to whatever guild I'm in and so when I wasn't helping the lower level people in HoK I was grouping with Lance since he was the highest level toon in our guild and I didn't know a great number of people on the server. At first I gave his attitude some slack because most reasonably serious to serious gamers I know are fairly cranky. When it got too much, I had a discussion with him about it. He appologized, said he'd work on it, blah blah blah...
He seemed to get much better about, well, being an ass, and I thought all was good. Fairly recently I found out that he'd just taken his bitchfests out of party chat and into tells. My problem is once I've given loyalty to someone (individual or group) I try to fix the problem rather than give up on them... In this case it doesn't look like it's fixable, so I have no choice but to give up.
Most of the time I've played MMO's I join the ones my RL friends play, group with them and their friends, and that's it... When my RL friends weren't on I'd just go solo. Recently I've gotten enough better at this style of game to get bored playing with RL friends which I why I tried this server, thinking it would be easier to find hardcore gamers.
I hope my previous association with Lance hasn't destroyed my rep on this server. That was kind of verbose but I want this issue to be clear.
