I will never agree with silencing people. I tried not to do it when I was playing and I wont do it here now that I'm not. The only thing I ever locked (with much personal debate) was the original thread about this; it had gone on for days as attempted recruitment and multiple people from both sides of the argument had asked me to.
I don't like censorship and i don't like silencing people no matter what they are saying.
Truth survives in the light...
Whether I'm in the right or the wrong. Control based on hiding things or overinflated self/guild worth is something I try not to be part of.
There are plenty of people out there who operate in a different way and there are plenty of places to get a website. My "protection" of the guild never had, and never will, extend past the things I honestly believe in. That will never change.
Its ok if people see me as the bad guy over that. I don't resent anyone for resenting me, but don't expect me to be supportive of things that I don't believe in.

I'm all about diplomacy.
I have always stated that everyone should get a 2nd chance.
Both parties involved have said and done things to upset the other, I think we should put the past behind us and build again.
Except for a monk that will remain nameless, who is in my opinion as slippery as a loon after the Exxon Valdiez Oil spill.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I just hope my detractors don't mistake what I've said for a claim that I'm 100% honest or haven't said things I don't regret. I don't want to make it seem like I feel like I'm a perfectly honest person above reproach. I'm not.
I'm trying to be... but of course I've fucked up along the way. I don't recall outright lying directly to anyone, but I consider withholding information and lies of omission to be unacceptable more than some people might. I'm sure I've taken part in at least a few of those here.

Unfortunately the truth almost never comes out in "Flaming" or "Ranting" posts and they become simply that. I would also like several threads locked because to be honest some level of censorship is required in an organized mature guild. Particular peoples prescence and opinions are both unwelcome and unnessecary. There is no "truth" to be gained from mindless insult throwing and ridiculous, unstructured out of context quotations.
It might make a person feel better, but it does nothing in reality other than stir up more drama. (Just watch any mainstream commentary oriented media program on a major news network, lots of opinions but no resolution.)
Furthermore Vik you should realize by now very well this is a "strategy" that has been played on you before. Rrawyx and Shook as well as others, know very well the tempers of particular people in this guild and try to use it to their advantage to sink us to their level through arguing with them, it makes the distinction between us and them seem non-existant in direction and maturity level.
If a child argues with you, you don't argue back. You sit him in the corner or lock him in the closet until he acts the way you desire. You can't win a game with someone when it's the game they want to play, you use your strengths to attack from a different angle to your advantage (ie. how I killed shook, I outsmarted him and played on his ego which proved to be a very easy task.)
Do Not fall into "their game" again. Please Lock this thread. |

The truth is already established and doesn't require being gone over a few dozen times in different ways over and over until everyone gets sick of hearing it. It should be said once, clearly. Established and then theres no reason to drag it out in the open again as some would like to.
Shook and Rrawyx's character are well known. Fio was not reinvited to this guild. Case Closed. |
